Privacy Policy

Energy RPG is developed and published by Main Quest Health LLC. You can reach us at energyrpg@sapphireskiesstudio.com.

Energy RPG reads the following Apple Health data types from HealthKit, with your permission:

• Step count
• Sleep analysis
• Active energy burned, exercise time, and workout records
• Resting heart rate
• Dietary water and dietary energy (calories)
• Mindful sessions
• Stand hours (Apple Watch, if available)
• Medications (if you grant access)
• Menstrual cycle data (if you enable cycle phase tracking in settings)

You grant these permissions individually in Apple Health settings. You can revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Energy RPG.

All data processing happens on your device. Raw health data is read from Apple Health and used to compute your energy tier. It is never stored separately from Apple Health; we read it, we don't copy it.

Energy RPG stores only its own computed state locally on your device using SwiftData:

• Energy tier summaries (daily cached values, not raw health data)
• Quest configuration and check-in records
• Rest day records
• Manual tier overrides you enter
• App settings and preferences

This data lives in the app's private container on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Energy RPG's party feature lets you share your energy tier and RPG state with someone in your support network (therapist, coach, partner).

Party sync transmits game state only, never raw health data. Your party members see your energy tier (e.g., “Cooking 🍵”) and badges. They never see your sleep hours, step count, heart rate, or any other health metric.

Party state syncs through Apple's iCloud infrastructure (CloudKit). We do not operate a server. Apple's iCloud privacy policy governs that sync.

Therapist-ready PDF reports are generated entirely on your device. You initiate sharing by tapping the share button in the app, which opens the iOS share sheet. The report goes wherever you direct it: email, AirDrop, Files, a messaging app. We never see it.

Nothing is sent automatically. No report leaves your device without your explicit action.

Energy RPG contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting SDKs, or tracking libraries. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.

The app uses Apple frameworks only: HealthKit, SwiftData, CloudKit, and PDFKit.

Energy RPG is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

If we update this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify users in the app. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
